Summer Feet
As the days get longer our hopes and wishes move to the prospect of some Great British summer days. Shorts, floaty dresses, sandals and feet on show! Quite possibly a fantasy this year, but we can only live in hope.
Anyway, I like to run and my feet take a real beating, meaning a little TLC is required, in addition to my monthly or so shellac pedicure. Some DIY chiropody is in order. Years ago I stumbled across Margaret Dabbs incredible foot file, with replaceable pads, while shopping in Space NK. So good, I bought one for my husband! However, as my miles have increased and since I’ve become a mum, which as we all know is a far from sedentary role, my feet have needed some slightly more intensive care. This is not a glamourous purchase, but it’s a great one. Last year, while shopping on Amazon, I came across this little gadget. The reviews were almost too good to be true, and before I knew it, my new electric foot file was on my doorstep. I was ridiculously excited to try this given the annoying little pads of hard skin which had built up on the soles of my feet, not to mention the cracked heels. Excuse the overshare, but this product is fantastic!
How to use the electric foot file
This speed adjustable electric foot file with replacement pads is an extremely easy to use and highly effective solution to the removal of hard skin on feet. No battery, it is plugged into the mains, and has an adjustable speed so you choose exactly the right setting for you. A new sandpaper pad is attached to the foot file for each use and the lightweight device can then be used to tackle any problem areas, applying appropriate pressure.

Think of the results of the best pedicure you have had and this will deliver the same results, probably better, at home and in a matter of a few minutes per foot.
