Eyebrows are simple things. They help convey our expressions and protect our eyes from trickles of sweat and the like. The humble brow has however precipitated the emergence of a global industry focused on getting our brows noticed. We’re talking high impact brows that make a statement; the bushier, the better!

Today big brows are beautiful. However, if you grew up in the 90s, there was next to no possibility your eyebrows were making it through the decade with any of their natural fullness. The skinnier the better. I remember the hours spent plucking my brows for the first time. I think my mum was on the brink of tears at the sight of the skinny little hockey stick brows I’d created for myself. Today, I’d be a social outcast if I was to recreate the look, but then all of my friends were doing the same.

Despite toning down the tweezing for many, many years, my brows have never fully recovered from a decade of intense thinning. Now, whenever I turn up for my brow waxing appointment the Gen Z staff laugh when I say to remove just the fluffy hairs, not the actual eyebrows. Absolutely, you’ve not got much anyway, is the usual reply. At the end of June, I set myself the challenge to bushy up my brows and fast. I wasn’t looking for crazy big brows, just slightly fuller, more luxurious brows! It was easier than I thought thanks to the amazing Revitabrow serum.

I’ve used the Revitalash Advanced Eyelash Serum for close to a decade and have been delighted with the results, so their eyebrow serum was my immediate go to in my endeavour to rejuvenate and super-charge my brows. It’s suggested that some people see a result immediately after applying the serum. I wasn’t one of them. For the first week I didn’t see any change. But after a couple of weeks my brows were definitely getting fuller. At first this was due to my existing eyebrows getting longer, but shortly afterwards it was clear there was new growth coming through. I used an eyebrow pencil to colour in the little patches between the new and old brow hairs. New rows of eyebrows were developing pretty quickly. The tails of my brows which had always been sparse were looking far more defined and unquestionably thicker. As a result of this new and increased growth my eyebrows are definitely darker than they were. If I was to attempt to quantify the improvement, I’d estimate there is a 30% increase in the fullness of my brows after 10 weeks of religiously applying the serum. It also last well. There is no sign of my first tube of serum running out yet.

There’s no possibility I would have been able to achieve this growth in my brows without Revitabrow. It’s a multi-award-winning serum for a reason. There’s a very useful little brush supplied with the pencil to smooth and blend it into your brows for a natural look.
