This summer I became addicted to VB Beauty. Before I knew it, I was in the Inner circle of loyalty. Ooops! This was however, possibly influenced by how user-friendly the website is and all the enticing bundling offers they have. It’s hard not to get hooked and fast!

Despite being a VB fan, it took me until now to try her beauty line. Was I a little cynical? I’m not sure. Possibly, subconsciously, in a world of increasingly numerous celebrity backed cosmetics lines. More the fool me, and here I am catching up on all her amazing range has to offer.  While there are so many products I like, there is one I particularly love. Not just for its incredible skincare qualities, but for also making life a little easier. The Cell Rejuvenating Primer by Augustinus Bader brings an effortless and instant golden glow to your frantic morning routine.

The Cell Rejuvenating Primer in Golden is essentially an incredible tinted moisturiser. This isn’t surprising once you look into who Augustinus Bader is. He’s an internationally recognised biomedical scientist and doctor, specialising in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. His formulations focus on reawakening cells that become dormant due to ageing or trauma. This all sounded pretty exceptional to me!

The primer is formulated with natural ingredients such as amino acids and vitamins naturally found in the skin, which assist with its repair and renewal. There’s also Black Tea Ferment for radiance and protection against free radical damage, Papaya Enzymes for brightening and smoothing and Avocado Oil to moisturise and rejuvenate. It also contains patented technology TFC8 which nourishes and protects the skin. All of this is bottled into sublimely minimalist, but nonetheless luxe, black and gold packaging.

The Rejuvenating Primer couldn’t be easier to use. You simply apply 1-2 pumps to freshly cleansed skin in the morning and evening. You can wear it alone or follow with make-up.

After first use, I was entirely addicted to the Cell Rejuvenating Primer. My skin was instantly hydrated, smoothed and glowing, with imperfections blurred. I immediately looked fresher and brighter than I felt! As if I was just back from holiday. The formula is fantastically lightweight, non-greasy and quickly absorbed. It’s like a primer, bronzer and wonder anti-aging moisturiser in one, which offers a lovely natural look in a single sweep of your face. It’s so sheer and subtle it’s very forgiving when applied in a hurry. The bronze formulation blends into even my fair complexion. If you like light coverage, or time is tight, all you need is this and a little concealer and you’re ready to go!  When you have time, it forms a perfect base for the rest of your make-up routine.

The Cell Rejuvenating Primer is a wonder product. As well as providing incredible skincare benefits, it also takes the hassle out of getting ready in the morning. It repairs and revitalises your skin whilst delivering a natural, pretty glow instantly. Being completely honest, I couldn’t love this product more!
